Summer 2021: A Musical World Cruise
Longing to finally get abroad this summer but stuck in Northern England? 25th June: ITALY
Join Madalina in her first port of call of this Virtual Cruise, to Italy! Step into the wonderful world of Italian traditions, through to the famous Neapolitan Dances and Venetian gondola Serenades. Madalina will perform an exquisite, virtuoso programme and will enchant you with exciting inside stories of works of Italian influences, composed by Scarlatti, Cimarosa, Respighi, Liszt and Mendelssohn-Bartholdy. 2nd July: FRANCE
Tonight’s unmissable recital will transport you across France, where magic, poetry, art and music meet together into the wonderous world of the famous French Impressionism. 9th July: SPAIN & SOUTH AMERICA
Join Madalina in an extremely exciting and fiery journey across Spain and all the way through to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Discover the secrets and origins of the Spanish flamenco, starting from Andalucia, then travel across to northern Spain, cross the Atlantic Ocean onto Mexican origin dances to the famous and most loved Argentine tangos. Madalina will perform works of Albeniz, Granados, Manuel de Falla and Astor Piazolla, whilst giving fascinating insight of their lives. Enjoy a glass of Rioja or Argentinian Malbec, and a selection of Spanish tapas.
16th July EASTERN EUROPE
Join Madalina in her final recital, exploring some of the most virtuoso and brilliant works inspired by folk traditions, songs and dances across Hungary, Poland, Romania and Russia. Do not miss this scintillating programme tonight of music of Chopin, Liszt, Bartok, Enescu, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff.
