About the Event
Tchaikovsky's piano work "The Seasons" will be performed in full by Madalina this morning, as we enjoy a cake and coffee to celebrate early autumn. This varied work, consisting of twelve pieces representing each month of the year, was completed in 1876 and published in the St. Petersburgh music magazine "Nouvellist". The work was composed alongside the Russian's famous ballet suite 'Swan Lake', and the similar pictoral style and story telling in this work is clear throughout.
